The mission of Hope Community Medicine is to provide families in the medically underserved counties of Deep East Texas with accessibility to high-quality healthcare regardless of their ability to pay, being underinsured or any other barrier that would prevent them from getting the care they need.
"My daughter went to Hope Clinic in late January with what she thought was mastitis she had put off going to doctor because she didn't have insurance, someone told her about the hope clinic so she called and they got her right in and saw her that same day! Mike Belgard was amazing and knew right away she was sick and very sick he even came in on Saturdays trying to see if antibiotic treatment would help which it did not! He got her in with a surgeon quick and we are very thankful for that because she was diagnosed with Stage IV Breast Cancer! Since then they have called and checked on her! Highly recommend The Hope Project!! "- Celeste Lewis
"So nice and very caring!!!!"- April Quinn
"I absolutely loved all the ladies here. Especially Cheryl Scalora! They took care of me more than a patient but also as a loved family member💕."- Alexandra Carver
"Mike Belgard and the staff are amazing. I had a double ear infection one time on my way home from Louisiana. I went to urgent care in New Orleans and they did nothing to help. I got back and went to see Mike in screaming pain. He fixed me right up within minutes I felt better. He stayed late that day to help me and I couldn’t be more grateful. The office manager in San Augustine, Robin Wilson is one of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing as well, she helped me get in to see Mike that day. This center is a blessing. I would highly recommend anyone to get care for themselves and/or their loved ones at this facility."- Ashley Bonner
